The largest castle ruins in northern Europe
The costume and armor show
How did people dress more than 300 years ago? What armor was needed for people to protect themselves from the contemporary weapons?
We’ll give you a small demonstration – presentation – yes!
Maybe even a display of costumes and armor in Hammershus exhibition. At the same time, you hear stories about costumes for chaste women and hardy men – about Broger – shame capsules and much more.
You may even be allowed to try to be dressed as a knight or a beautiful princess, or even in an ordinary suit similar to the ones you went to, for many hundreds of years ago. Of course there will be the opportunity to take photos.
Note: This tour is well suited for wheelchair users – as there is good access to the exhibition.
