From a Local Craftswoman Diary

When a new idea begins to take shape, I have to start experimenting. It is always interesting to see where it takes me. Nothing is given upfront because the process mostly takes another direction than first planned.
I make everything as well as hand knitted on my old domestic knitting machine. After knitting it is being washed – perhaps felted – and put out to dry and finally evaluated.
This is how I work, at first with the knitted samples and later – after several experiments – with the final piece.
I enjoy taking part in every process and hope that it is reflected in my works.
