Traveling to Bornholm is fast and easy and you may even get to see some of Sweden, while on your way. How cool is that. You can get here either by ferry or by flight. Not just one ferry but three ferries sail to Bornholm. Depending on where you come from, you can choose between ferries from Denmark, Sweden or Germany (From Germany it`s only from March to November) and flights from Copenhagen, all of them directly to Rønne (the capital) on Bornholm. If you arrive just on your own, there are a lot of buses going all over the island every day, you can see the timetables below. Also below is a google map to see where we are.

Fly from Copenhagen to Rønne, Bornholm 

You can fly to Bornholm, it only takes 35 min. from Copenhagen. There are buses going from the airport to Rønne, it`s about 3 kilometers, from there other buses will take you anywhere you want to go, well almost anywhere. You can also rent a car from the airport. Copenhagen – Rønne, Bornholm

Come as you are and jump on the bus from Copenhagen main Station. It takes you across the bridge to Sweden and all along the southern coast to Ystad, straight to the ferry going to Rønne on Bornholm. Or bring your bikes and jump on the train to Ystad, also from Copenhagen main Station. It also takes you straight to the ferry. Both take about 1 hour and is a beautiful ride. The ferry takes 1 hour and 20 min. So within 3 hours you can be on Bornholm. For tickets and timetables see link below.

Ystad – Rønne, Bornholm

Bring your bikes, motorbikes, car or just yourself and your family. With the catamarans Leonora Christina or Villum Clausen it only takes about 1 hour and 20 min. to cross The Baltic Sea to Bornholm. On the ferries you can enjoy a drink or a meal in the cafeterias, go shopping in the duty free shops or watch a movie with the children in the childrens area. Køge (south of Copenhagen) – Rønne, Bornholm

Book a cabin and wake up in Rønne. Bring your bikes, motorbikes or car and take the slow ferry from Køge. It leaves once a day, at 00.30 am and arrives in Rønne at 06.00 am. For tickets and timetables see link below.

Sassnitz (Germany) – Rønne, Bornholm

From March to November you can travel directly from Sassnitz, in Germany to Rønne, Bornholm by ferry. You can bring your bikes, motorbikes or car. The trip takes about 3 hours and 30 min. For tickets and timetables see the link below.
